THEATER/ CREATIVE WRITING INSTURCTOR (part-time)
Theatre Instructors are responsible for introducing and preparing students for our end of summer production. This includes teaching: theatre/stage etiquette, acting techniques, improvisational methods, script analysis, character development, stage techniques, and voice projection. This is a part-time position with pay starting at $15 per hour and goes up depending on experience.
Job Requirements
- Must be available June 4 – July 27
- Must have a passion for teaching youth
- Previous teaching experience
- Previous live theatre/production experience
- Comfortable managing large groups of children grades K – 8th
- Possess knowledge of improvisational techniques
- Thorough knowledge of staging and traditional theatre techniques
- Script writing experience
- Highly creative
- Open minded
- Quick learner
- Fast paced worker/instructor
- Creative teaching and discipline methods
- Strong communication skills
- Adapts well to change
- Must be a team player
Students should be trained to know cues for entering and exiting stage, and take responsibility for not only their part in the show, but the overall success of the production itself.

ART INSTURCTOR (part-time)
Art Instructors are responsible for exposing students to a variety of art media while they create the sets, props and costumes for our end of camp performance. Students in the Visual Art class will create original works of art to take home each week. These are part-time positions with pay starting at $15 per hour and goes up depending on experience.

- Choreography experience

DANCE INSTURCTOR (part-time)
Dance Instructors are responsible for introducing and preparing students for our end of summer production. This includes teaching: stage etiquette, remembering routines and counts. These are part-time positions with pay starting at $15 per hour and goes up depending on experience.
